Trae Camble is Director of the Environmental Affairs Department at the Port of Houston Authority. Trae has been with the Port since 2015. Trae’s focus at the Port has been to reduce emissions from Port operations and to work with external stakeholders on sustainability initiatives.

Trae is originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Trae earned a B.S. in Chemistry from Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA.

Trae began in the environmental field with the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality as an Environmental Scientist and has also worked in the oil and gas field as an Environmental Manager and Training Manager.  He has extensive experience in planning, permitting, and inspections in the oil and gas industry, maritime, and public sector.
